# SPOT Gen3 SATELLITE GPS MESSENGER
SPOT Gen3 lets family, friends and colleagues know you are okay, or if the unexpected should happen raise an alert utilising the Globalstar satellite network.
Link your social accounts to keep your friends and family in the know wherever you go.
\*SPOT devices require an active subscription with TrackMe NZ to properly perform. All subscriptions auto-renew at the end of the contract term.
## Check In
Send a pre-programmed text message or an email with GPS coordinates to up to 10 contacts with your location. Your waypoint is stored in your TrackMe Portal for later reference. Your tracking and message log can be viewed on the TrackMe Pro App or online in the TrackMe NZ Portal
## S.O.S.
With the push of a button, TrackMe NZ will connect you to the Rescue Services you require. For NZ Customers thats the Rescue Co-ordination Centre based in Lower Hutt, and for Australian Clients it is Australian Maritime Safety Authority. The 24/7 TrackMe Response Centre will connect you with your family in times of need.
The S.O.S. button is for emergencies only.

Set up custom messages before your next adventure to send to your list of pre-determined contacts. Use this feature as a secondary OK message.
Your tracking and message log can be viewed on the TrackMe Pro App or online in the TrackMe NZ Portal
